These would be funny if the situation wasn’t so serious. I suppose there are some Democrats who have said equally ignorant things but I haven’t found any.

I am imitating a model used by Chris Cilizza of CNN who typical picks quotes from a Trump speech and makes short comments on them(1)See for example, The 45 most incoherent lines from Donald Trump’s rambling Rose Garden speech, CNN webaite, July 15, 2020

Cases per day last 7 Days per million Canada 9, US 169,

Now, the testing is a good thing but at the same time it’s fodder for the fake news to report cases.”

Here are some ways to get here by car: • From Crown Metropol Melbourne : Head southwest on Whiteman St toward Clarendon St/Spencer St/State Route 50. They’ll be subject to certain wagering requirements. Wow, it took them four films before they finally got around to adapting what was the first installment in the “007” novel series, and this film isn’t even an official member of the “007” film series, or at least not as far as EON Productions is concerned https://mejoresonlinecasino.com/. Find a single deck game, and your chances of winning are greatly improved.

Wow! It’s fake news to report how many cases there are?

Trump on Science versus reopening Schools

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany reiterated that President Trump supports opening schools fully, without any kind of remote learning in the fall, and she argued “science should not stand in the way” of that goal. Science has that nasty habit of confusing people with the facts.

Ohio lawmaker urges people to ‘stop getting tested’ for COVID-19

“Are you tired of living in a dictatorship yet?” Republican state Rep. Nino Vitale wrote in a post on Facebook Tuesday after Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, a Republican, announced the mask mandate. “This is what happens when people go crazy and get tested. STOP GETTING TESTED! It is giving the government an excuse to claim something is happening that is not happening at the magnitude they say it is happening.”(4)Ohio lawmaker urges people to ‘stop getting tested’ for COVID-19, CNN website, July, 9. 2020

I guess the 57,000 people currently hospitalized in the US (over 270,000 since the start) not to mention the relatives of the over 140,000 who have died would be surprised to hear that Covid “is not happening at the magnitude they say it is happening”

Anti-mask Republican wields chainsaw and blowtorch while comparing safety mandates to Nazi Germany

“You see, the government needed a villain, People who don’t wear a mask will be soon painted as the enemy just as they did to Jews in Nazi Germany.”(5)Advertisement by Louisiana Rep Danny McCormick

Can’t think of anything to say about this.

Trump on Excellence of his Response to COVID

He says something along these lines almost every day including:

“relax, we’re doing great” March 15

“We have done a job, the likes of which nobody has ever done” April 13

“. . . administration’s management of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States represents maybe our best work”, May 6

“I have done a phenomenal job with it. … We saved hundreds of thousands of lives”, June 20

“His historic Covid response speaks for itself,” White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said, July 17

This gives you an idea of how well things are going.

You might notice the drop in deaths leading up to June 20. This was due to cases dropping for a while until they started rising precipitously following premature reopenings starting in late April. We are now starting to see a rise again.

Media responsible for Florida surge

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ argued that the media stopped asking about coronavirus in May and is to blame for the public becoming complacent and cases rising.(6)Interview with CNN’s Brianna Keilar, July ,2020

I haven’t seen a lot of reports on cancer lately; so I guess, we’ll see a big increase there next.
